Messy Monkey

Mealtime is getting REAL messy around here:

Doesn't look like he minds a bit, does he?

He might be a *little* vain...

Landon loves to look at himself! He will sit and look at this little photo album of precious Landon pictures for 20 and 30 minutes at a time! (We all know how hard it is to find things to entertain babies for more than 5 minutes!) He just flips each and every page and looks at his adorable self with all the pictures that Mommy takes. "Ahhhh...who is this charming little boy? Oh, it's ME!"

Of course, Landon also likes to look at himself in the mirror! Anytime we pass a mirror now, he waves to himself! He loves to try and kiss himself in the mirror as well, like in the below pic. We all know he's a cutie pie, but all those compliments and cheek pinching might be going to his head! Ha ha!

Exploring and Ducks

You've heard of Dora the Explorer, but have you seen Landon the Explorer? Holy cow! This kid is constantly on the move, and into EVERYTHING! I am constantly redirecting him and bringing him back to his toys, but he REALLY loves exploring our house! I recently followed him around the other day with my camera to show you all his explorations and favorite things in our house.

"Hmm, these white things are fun. They move and make fun sounds!"

"Hmmm, think I'll lift up this mat. What's under here? Oh, a cheerio!"
"Think I'll have a little snack here! Finders Keepers!"

"I can see myself in here! How can I get into this thing and see what Mommy and Daddy are always putting in here?"

"Oh yeah! I love pulling out all this stringy stuff from this fake tree! It makes a fun mess!"
"What, Mommy? Don'tcha want to play in the tree with me?"

"Maybe if I hide here under the table she won't see me. Oops, busted! I'll just have to go find some more rooms to explore!"
Everyday it's something new that Landon finds and wants to see. We have a million toys here to entice him, but who needs toys when there's a house to explore?

This past weekend, Landon went to spend the day and night with Mimi and Papa while Mommy and Daddy went to Athens for the big game. Go dawgs! They took him to the park, and Landon got to see ducks for the first time!
"What are these things??? They're eating my snacks!"

"I like feeding ducks and going to the park!"
"Whew! Going to the park wears me out!"

First game day!

This was Landon's first "real" UGA gameday! There was a game a few days after he was born, but he was so little, and Mommy was too out of it to remember. His little outfit swallowed him! Here he was way back when:
We went to Uncle James' to watch the game with lots of friends, and even Grandpa. Landon had fun playing with Addison! They were so sweet together.
Then we walked up to the Walters' house to *try* and get a pic of the 4 boys. Someone had the brilliant idea of painting their chests, so we did. Landon DID NOT want to lay down and pose, so this is the best we got.
Even after getting dressed again, Landon was quite mad at Mommy and he took it out on poor Cade as they fought over a toy. (This redhead has quite a temper!) We'll try again soon to get a decent pic of the boys in their gameday gear!
Here's Landon with Uncle James, our host for the first game.

Saying "Goooooo Dawgs!" with Daddy

Homeboy hanging out and watching the game.

This is the outfit that Landon started his day in. However, Daddy didn't like it, so we changed. What do you think?

We were all so sad that the Dawgs lost, but there's a lot more games to play. Landon was so heartbroken over the loss that he decided to end the day by pooping in the bathtub. YUCK! It was so gross, and Mommy was quite upset. Ewwwwww! Maybe our next gameday will end on a happier note!
