Landon's "twin"

My fabulous cousin, Elisha, and I were pregnant at the same time, due within days of each other. She was having a girl, while we were having a boy. Our family threw us a joint shower, complete with a pink cake and a blue cake. It was so fun talking with Elisha for months about all our pregnancy joys and woes.
Here's a pic of us when we were prego:

Now both of our little bundles of joy are here. Wouldn't you know it that we'd end up having more in common with our babies than we thought! Landon and little Hayden were born less than 24 hours apart, weighed 1 oz different, and were 1 inch different in length. Elisha and I were so excited to get them together at the Thompson Family Christmas so that they could finally meet! We found out how hard it was to get two babies to look anywhere near the camera, but here they are:

Here's me holding my darling new little family member, Hayden. (She looks exactly like her father, Chris!)

The proud new cousins and parents: Chris, Elisha, Me, Kris and our adorable babes

Landon had so much fun being held by all his relatives!

All bundled up and ready to go!

Mimi (my mom) met us at the mall on Tuesday for Landon's first mall trip (the first of many!) and to sit with Santa. Landon was half asleep and Santa tried to wake him up. I asked Santa (on Landon's behalf) for a night of good, deep sleep!
